The Federal Constitution and the landmark cases of 2021

A royal commission on the judiciary is needed

In collaboration with the Malaysian Bar Association, University of Malaya Law School and Malaysian Center for Constitutionalism and Human Rights (MCCHR), BFM recaps important court decisions in 2021.

The program tackles cases involving gender issues in relation to citizenship, freedom of the media, protection of human rights defenders and freedom of religion, while reflecting on the human rights situation in Malaysia.

Joining BFM for this discussion are Emeritus Professor Shad Saleem Faruqi, Firdaus Husni from the Malaysian Center for Constitutionalism and Human Rights and lawyer Kee Hui Yee.
